Kate Rogers’ poetry has appeared in anthologies, literary magazines and newspapers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, the U.S. and the UK. Her work has been published in The Guardian; Contemporary Verse 2; Orbis International; Asian Cha; Asia Literary Review and Many Mountains Moving. Her next poetry collection, Foreign Skin, will debut in Toronto and Hong Kong in 2015. Kate is co-editor of OutLoud Too, the second anthology of OutLoud – Hong Kong’s longest running English language poetry collective. Her poetry collection, City of Stairs, debuted in Hong Kong and Toronto in 2012. She is also co-editor of the women’s poetry anthology Not A Muse: the inner lives of women, with Viki Holmes. Not A Muse launched at literary festivals in Ubud, Bali; Hong Kong and Toronto, and at the 2010 American Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) Conference in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Toronto (and long-time resident of Hamilton, London and Windsor, Ontario), Kate Rogers currently lectures in Literature and Media Studies at the Community College of City University, Hong Kong.
